Dr. Takuya Konno-Kishi, MD, PhD is a director of Department of Advanced Risk Stratification for Cardiovascular Diseases, Center for Disruptive Cardiovascular Medicine, Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan. He graduated Kyushu University at 1997, and has researched the autonomic regulation of blood pressure in clinical and basic research at Kyushu University Graduate School of Medical Sciences and Center for Disruptive Cardiovascular Medicine. He has 93 publications (first author: 40, total impact factor: 321.604, citation index: 2904, h-index: 30), and has been awarded by Academic Awards of the 4th Japanese Heart Failure Society (2016), Jokichi Takamine Young Investigator Awards of the Japanese Society of Cardiovascular Endocrinology and Metabolism (2015), Academic Awards of the 35th Japanese Society of Hypertension (2012), Young Investigator’s Awards of the 33th Japanese Society of Hypertension (2010), Recognition Research Award of Neural Control and Autonomic Regulation in Experimental Biology (2009), New Investigator Awards of American Heart Association High Blood Pressure Research Council (2008) , and Young Investigator Award of the 67th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Circulation Society (2003). He is a Fellow of Japanese Circulation Society, Japanese College of Cardiology, Japanese Heart Failure Society, Japanese Society of Hypertension, American Heart Association, and European Society of Cardiology.
