Edward T.A. Fry, MD, FACC, FSCAI attended Grinnell College in Iowa and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Fry completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Barnes Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine. He completed a two year fellowship in Cardiovascular Research working on pharmacokinetics / pharmacodynamics of native and genetically modified plasminogen activators with Dr. Burton Sobel. Dr. Fry completed his General Cardiology Fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine and then remained on faculty as Assistant Professor and Medical Director of the Cardiac Transplant Program. He completed a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at St. Vincent Hospital/Indianapolis and joined the practice at St. Vincent Medical Group. Dr. Fry now serves as Chair of the St. Vincent Heath Cardiovascular Service Line, leading clinical operations of a 22 hospital state-wide health care system and a 100 cardiologist division. He also chairs the Ascension Health National Cardiovascular Service Line. Dr. Fry is a member of the ACC Board of Trustees and several other ACC committees.
