My Short Biography:
Dr. Renkui Bai got his MD from Henan Medical University and PhD from Peking University，He had 10 years of working experience as a Physician in Internal Medicine. He received two years of training in Clinical Molecular Genetics at the National Human Genomics Research Institute of the National Institutes of Health (NHGRI, NIH). He is Board certified in Clinical Molecular Geneticists by American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG). He has 18 years of working experience in clinical molecular diagnostic laboratories including five years at Georgetown University, three years at Baylor College of Medicine and 10 years at GeneDx. He is familiar with traditional techniques and modern techniques, single gene disease and polygenic disease, analysis and diagnostic reports of nuclear genome and mitochondrial genome. He is especially familiar with clinical molecular diagnosis of various inherited human diseases. He has published more than 40 articles related to genetic diagnosis of human diseases. Has been invited to give platform presentation at the annual meeting American Society of Human Genetics in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, the Annual Conference of Mitochondrial Medicine Society (MMS) in 2012, 2013, and 2015 and an education session in the annual meeting American College of Medical Genetic and Genomics in 2019.
